On December 24, 2024, at approximately 10:10 p.m., the Midland Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 5000 block of Pleasant Drive in Midland, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 49-year-old Seward Swann suffering from gunshot wounds. Swann was promptly transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.
