On August 15, 2023, at approximately 4:19 p.m., the Midland Police Department responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the 1900 block of East Scharbauer Drive in Midland, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 17-year-old Morgan Osborne, a student at Legacy High School, deceased from a single gunshot wound.
