On June 18, 2023, in Kellogg, Idaho, 16-year-old Aiken Smith was tragically killed alongside his family members in a shooting incident at their residence. The victims included Aiken's mother, Kenna Guardipee, 41; his brother, Devin Smith, 18; and his grandfather, Kenneth Guardipee, 65. The assailant, Majorjon Kaylor, 31, was their neighbor in the same multi-unit building.
