On the evening of November 26, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred at a residence on Spiers Landing Road in Cross, South Carolina. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals: 16-year-old Shariff Ali King and 25-year-old Kee Juan D. Middleton, both residents of Cross. A third person was also injured and transported to the hospital; however, their condition remains unknown.
