In the small community of Cross, South Carolina, a burst of gunfire on a Tuesday night in late November 2024 shattered the evening calm and ended two young lives. The male victims of the fatal shooting were 16-year-old Shariff King and 25-year-old Kee Juan D. Middleton. The incident, which occurred on November 26, 2024, also left a third individual wounded, adding to the tragedy that unfolded on Spires Landing Road.
