On January 20, 2025, a tragic incident unfolded in the Cross community of Berkeley County, South Carolina, where 46-year-old Torrionda Taylor lost her life in a fatal shooting. Berkeley County deputies responded to a residence on Poplar Hill Drive after receiving reports of gunfire.
