On a late Thursday afternoon in Greenville, South Carolina, tragedy struck, cutting short the life of 18-year-old Zaire Ladale Davarous Jenkins. The male teen was fatally shot on December 26, 2024, in the parking lot of the Crestwood Forest Apartments. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots around 3:30 p.m. and discovered Jenkins with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
