On December 10, 2024, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a tragic incident unfolded in the parking lot of the Green Ridge Apartments on Euclid Avenue near East 221st Street in Euclid, Ohio. Mariana N. Grier, 21, and her brother, Antwon R. Grier, 20, were fatally shot during a gathering that escalated into gunfire among a crowd. Both siblings were transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
