two suspects, Curtis Gatheright and Daylonta T. Jones, both of Cleveland, for their alleged involvement in the crime. Gatheright and Jones were charged with murder and aggravated robbery. Gatheright eventually pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, and felonious assault, while Jones's trial was set to begin on August 23, 2021.
