On the morning of December 24, 2024, 23-year-old White male Nathaniel Gage Jones was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence at 227 North Detroit Street in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Emergency responders transported him to Mary Rutan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Bellefontaine Police, along with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, initiated an investigation into the incident.
