On December 12, 2024, at approximately noon, Winston-Salem police responded to reports of a shooting in the 3600 block of Yarbrough Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. One victim, identified as 31-year-old Emanuel "Teddy" Bacilio, was pronounced dead at the scene.
