Kenneth Bailey, male, died on December 3, 2024, after a shooting inside Ortega's Indian Jewelry Store in Continental Divide, New Mexico. Shortly before 3:45 p.m., employees heard multiple gunshots from the store's restroom and called for help. When deputies entered, they found the bathroom door closed with blood seeping from beneath it; Bailey was inside and pronounced dead at the scene. Outside, a man later identified as Bailey's 25-year-old son, Trenton Bailey, was waiting near the business.
