In the late hours of a Sunday evening in St. Louis, the life of 20-year-old Darrien Abrams was tragically cut short. On November 24, 2024, in the Columbus Square neighborhood, a burst of gunfire erupted near the intersection of Eighth and Carr streets. When police responded to the scene shortly before 10 p.m., they discovered a chaotic scene with multiple victims. Abrams, a resident of East St. Louis, was found with gunshot wounds.
