On November 24, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred in the Columbus Square neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, resulting in the death of 20-year-old Darrien Abrams from East St. Louis. The incident took place shortly before 10 p.m. near the intersection of Eighth and Carr Streets, close to the Dome at America's Center.
