On November 26, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., authorities responded to a shooting incident in the 500 block of McComb Street in McComb, Mississippi. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Charles Ray Martin Jr. seated inside his parked vehicle, having sustained gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to provide medical assistance, Martin was pronounced dead at the scene.
