On the morning of November 18, 2024, a dispute in West Baltimore turned deadly, claiming the life of 40-year-old Marcus Holloway. The incident unfolded around 9:12 a.m. in the 1900 block of Edmonson Avenue, where a Shot Spotter alert prompted a police response. Upon their arrival, officers discovered both Holloway and another 45-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to a local hospital, where Holloway was pronounced dead.
