In the evening hours of Saturday, November 23, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Baltimore neighborhood, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Marquis Hill, a 25-year-old Black male, was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 5500 block of Hamlin Avenue. The incident was reported at approximately 8:15 p.m., a time when the city was otherwise settling into a weekend evening.
