On November 24, 2024, at approximately 10:19 p.m., Burlington Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of South 7th Street in Burlington, Iowa. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. One victim, identified as 28-year-old Alondro Lee Pratt of Racine, Wisconsin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
