On November 27, 2024, at approximately 3:58 p.m., 34-year-old Alexander J. Nesteruk was fatally shot on Clark Street just south of Arlington Place in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Nesteruk, a resident of Wheaton, Illinois, was observed earlier in the day engaging in erratic behavior, including kicking car doors and making loud, incoherent statements.
