On December 24, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Roswell Police Department responded to a report of a possible deceased person near Azalea Drive and Atlanta Street in Roswell, Georgia. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 47-year-old Blanca Sauer, a resident of Sandy Springs, in a ditch adjacent to the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene, having suffered at least one gunshot wound.
