On December 23, 2024, at approximately 11:51 AM, the Delray Beach Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at the Bi-Lo Market, located at 24 NW 8th Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. Upon arrival, officers discovered 30-year-old Timmy Hayes suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
