Jarvis Collins, a 30-year-old African American man from Delray Beach, Florida, tragically lost his life on February 18, 2016. Collins was shot while sitting in his car on Northwest Seventh Avenue, an area known for its ongoing feud between two local families. Earlier that day, a teenager had been injured in a related shooting, prompting Collins to drive to the area in an attempt to prevent further violence.
