On December 6, 2024, 43-year-old Nicole Winans, a beloved salon owner from Lodi, California, was tragically shot and killed in Woodbridge. The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a disturbance in the 900 block of East Academy Street shortly after midnight. Upon arrival, deputies found Nicole with a fatal gunshot wound and detained her husband, 50-year-old Shane Winans, at the scene.
