On November 18, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Semmes, Alabama, resulting in the death of 40-year-old Emily Roney. While traveling westbound on Moffett Road in a gray Dodge minivan, accompanied by her father, Rickey Smith, and her husband, Martin Roney, Emily was fatally shot.
