On January 4, 2023, at approximately 1:36 a.m., Rowlett Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 2600 block of Primrose Lane in Rowlett, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Jenson James Phipps suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Phipps was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
