In the early morning hours of June 21, 2017, a sense of unease settled over a normally quiet commercial area in Maple Shade, New Jersey. Behind the Iron Hill Brewery and adjacent Albo Appliance store on East Kings Highway, the day began not with the usual sounds of deliveries and preparations, but with the sharp report of gunfire.
