On January 21, 2023, 18-year-old Christopher Aguilar was fatally shot during a robbery attempt in the Alief area of Houston, Texas. While seated in his SUV on Lucky Star Drive, Aguilar was approached by two individuals who demanded money and then shot him. After being shot, Aguilar lost control of his vehicle, crashing into a nearby house. He was airlifted to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
