In the early hours of March 11, 2023, tragedy struck a family in North Dallas, Texas, when 11-year-old Jeremiah Green was fatally shot while sleeping at his grandparents' home. His mother, 31-year-old Jocelyn Green, sustained a gunshot wound to her hand during the incident. The assailant, identified as 30-year-old Jakeith Huntley, allegedly fired multiple rounds through a window into the room where Jeremiah and his mother were sleeping.
