On the evening of March 13, 2023, 22-year-old Juan Jose Prado was fatally shot in Dallas, Texas. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Golden Chick restaurant near the CF Hawn Freeway and Saint Augustine Road in the Pleasant Grove area. Prado had arranged to meet someone in the parking lot and was shot while still inside his pickup truck.
