Anthony Ray Patterson, a 47-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on August 6, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. Patterson was shot and killed in what was believed to be a case of mistaken identity. He had borrowed a car to run an errand when the gunman, who was reportedly looking for someone else who had been in the same vehicle, opened fire.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Patterson's death.
