On March 14, 2023, Dallas police discovered the body of 51-year-old Fredrick Miles inside an apartment located in the 3400 block of Southern Oaks Boulevard. Officers responded to the residence around 2:15 p.m. after family members reported not hearing from Miles since March 10. Upon arrival, they found him deceased with a gunshot wound.
