On March 19, 2023, 16-year-old Decoreion Demond Anthony Williams was fatally shot in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred in the 1500 block of East Hattie Street, located in the city's Historic Southside neighborhood. Upon arrival, Fort Worth police officers found Williams with a gunshot wound; he was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
