On March 24, 2023, in Dallas, Texas, 59-year-old Pamela Bush was fatally shot by her ex-husband, Richard Davis, aged 62. The incident occurred following an argument between the two. After the shooting, Davis fled the scene but later surrendered to Fort Worth police, bringing a firearm with him. He was subsequently booked into the Dallas County jail on a murder charge.
