In the early hours of April 13, 2023, Dallas police responded to a shooting incident at a residence in the 3400 block of West Jefferson Boulevard in the West Oak Cliff neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Pedram Rezaei Haghighi inside the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported Haghighi to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
