On April 24, 2023, Charles Evans, 43, was fatally shot following an altercation on a METRO bus in Houston, Texas. The incident began around midnight when Evans and a 22-year-old man engaged in a physical confrontation on the bus, during which witnesses reported that Evans punched the man multiple times.
