On April 24, 2023, Charles Evans, 43, was fatally shot following an altercation on a METRO bus in Houston, Texas. The incident began around midnight when Evans and a 22-year-old man engaged in a physical confrontation on the bus, during which witnesses reported that Evans punched the man multiple times. The conflict continued after both individuals were ejected from the bus near the 4700 block of Scott Street.
