Desmond Gibran Gaines, an 18-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on November 9, 2019. Gaines was involved in an altercation with a group of individuals, during which several shots were fired. He managed to drive away but crashed his vehicle in the Rosharon area of Fort Bend County. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
Authorities have identified a vehicle of interest seen in
surveillance footage around the time of the shooting. The vehicle is described as a blue or gray four-door car, possibly a Chrysler 200. Two of the three suspects involved in the altercation were captured on video. Fort Bend County authorities have been actively seeking information from the public to solve this case and bring those responsible to justice.
