On April 28, 2023, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Henderson County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported shooting on County Road 3803 in Henderson County, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Justin Jordan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Jordan succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Present at the scene was 30-year-old Cody Jones, who admitted to shooting Jordan. Authorities arrested Jones on the spot, charging him with murder. H
