On April 29, 2023, at approximately 8:35 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of South Jim Miller Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Jonathan Andrews lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel arrived shortly thereafter, but Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene.
