On May 2, 2023, at approximately 7:20 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 3900 block of North Hampton Road, near the Dallas Housing Authority in West Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Tamundray Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a parking lot. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Following an investigation, on May 19, 2023, authorities arrested 21-year-old Ronnie Cooper in connection with Williams
