On May 6, 2023, Kyu Cho, 37, his wife Cindy, 35, and their 3-year-old son James were tragically killed in a mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Allen, Texas. The Cho family, residents of Dallas, had been visiting the mall with their 6-year-old son, William, who survived the attack but sustained injuries. The family had been shopping to celebrate William's recent birthday when the shooting occurred.
