On May 30, 2023, at approximately 11:15 p.m., 24-year-old Davion Scott was fatally shot at a Citgo gas station located at 13103 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas. Surveillance footage revealed that Scott had been parked at a gas pump for about 15 minutes when a blue 1990 Chevrolet Caprice approached and parked behind his vehicle.
