On June 13, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., 25-year-old Jordan Johnson was fatally shot on West Commerce Street near South San Marcos in San Antonio, Texas, close to the Bexar County Jail. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office, Johnson sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Johnson had been residing at a nearby homeless encampment. A friend of his informed the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) that Johnson had previously engaged ...
