Jaime Arceo, a 19-year-old from Chicago, tragically lost his life on May 7, 2017, in a violent incident in the Montclare neighborhood. Jaime was working at his family's restaurant, "El Taconazo," when an armed robbery took place in the early hours of the morning. Around 3 a.m., a masked gunman entered the establishment, where Jaime and a few others were present. The assailant opened fire, fatally wounding Jaime. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
