Melanye Canedy, a 31-year-old mother of three, was tragically found shot to death in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, Texas, on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Dallas police responded to a call about a possible homicide at approximately 8 a.m. and discovered Canedy lying on the ground outside a residence, bleeding from a gunshot wound.
