On August 21, 2023, 16-year-old Emmanuel "Manuel" Delgado was fatally shot while driving along Wallisville Road in northeast Harris County, Houston, Texas. At the time of the incident, Delgado was accompanied by three teenage passengers. Initial reports suggested that Delgado might have been handling a firearm when it discharged, leading to his death.
