On August 26, 2023, Christopher Boykin, aged 47, tragically lost his life to gun violence in West Columbia, Texas. Known affectionately by nicknames such as "Chris" and "Hillbilly," Boykin was a rigger by profession and had a deep passion for motorcycles and horses. He attended Brooks High School and West Columbia High School, and was a father to two children, Logan and Rebecca.
