On September 7, 2023, at approximately 2:45 a.m., 34-year-old Sherniqua Danielle "Danny B" Banks was fatally shot while driving her SUV in northwest Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the 2800 block of West Gulf Bank Road near West Montgomery Road. Banks was accompanied by her 3-year-old son, who was in the backseat and unharmed, and a 41-year-old male passenger who sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital for surgery.
