On October 20, 2023, San Antonio police responded to a call near the intersection of Robeson Avenue and Morningview Street on the city's east side. Upon arrival, officers discovered 36-year-old Allison Cevallos inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Cevallos, who was five months pregnant at the time, was transported to a hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries; medical efforts to save her unborn child were unsuccessful.
