On October 27, 2023, 18-year-old Kevin Adrian Roman was fatally shot in Odessa, Texas. The Ector County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a gunshot victim at a Dollar General store located at 3rd Street and Knox. Upon arrival, deputies found Roman critically injured; he was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during surgery.
