On October 27, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded in Odessa, Texas, resulting in the deaths of two teenagers, including 17-year-old Dillan Elain Zubia. The Ector County Sheriff's Office received a call around 6:00 p.m. regarding a gunshot victim at the Dollar General store located at 3rd Street and Knox Avenue. The victim, identified as 18-year-old Kevin Roman, was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during surgery.
