On November 23, 2023, at approximately 12:06 a.m., the Harrison County Sheriff's Office received a distress call from a woman reporting that her ex-boyfriend had arrived at her residence on Milton Lane in Longview, Texas, and had been shot.
Upon arrival, deputies found 28-year-old Anthony Diante Hampton of Tyler, Texas, unresponsive in the front yard. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
