Death by Force

On November 26, 2023, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Roberto Chavez, a 19-year-old resident of Laredo, Texas, was fatally shot multiple times at 527 Riverhill Loop, a subdivision along the Rio Grande.

In early December 2023, a 16-year-old male suspect was apprehended in Dallas with assistance from the South Texas U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. The juvenile was extradited to Laredo and charged with murder in connection to Chavez's death.
